COLLABO
Collaboration is the real magic – when minds come together, the possibilities become infinite. After all, two heads are better than one, especially when one is wearing augmented reality glasses.
The vibrant AR experience The Viennese Lion roared to life through a collaboration with Red Eye Magazine, brought to reality via the Artivive platform. Unveiled at the CultTech Summit in Vienna in November 2024, it blended tradition with technology, turning the city’s artistic heritage into an interactive spectacle.
“Organized by the Vienna-based CultTech Association, known for collaborations with leading institutions like Ars Electronica and the Salzburg Festival, the Summit is a global platform for exploring how technology is shaping the future of culture and creative industries.”
Bringing Vienna’s history to life with the power of AR, which pays tribute to the city’s imperial grandeur and enduring strength. Inspired by the majestic lions adorning Vienna’s architecture, this experience seamlessly merges tradition with technology.
Using an advanced image tracker, the filter anchors digital storytelling directly onto the city's visual heritage, creating a unique fusion of past and future.
The AR filter “SS21 Rhinestone Glam” was created in collaboration with the fashion brand Adriana Hot Couture as part of their project, Reality Virtuality Continuum, showcased during Milan Fashion Week.
“The virtuality continuum is a continuous scale ranging between the completely virtual, a virtuality, and the completely real, reality.”
“It doesn’t help that the boundaries between virtual and real are getting more and more blurred: we are living an ever growing part of our life (both personal and professional) in virtual realms. Defining what is real, what is virtual, what is true and what is fake, nowadays, is no child’s play.”
XR All Stars
The AR filter “Love Delivery,” crafted in collaboration with XR All Stars, offers a first-class love message service—because nothing says "I adore you" like a virtual courier straight to your other half’s heart.
"The 'Love Delivery' AR filter brings Cupid into the 21st century—with a drone delivering hearts faster than your emotions can hit 'Send.' Forget flowers; love now has wings, propellers, and a high-tech vibe!"
Kuno.Fell.Asleep
The AR filter “Xray,” crafted in collaboration with Japanese multidisciplinary artist Kuno.Fell.Asleep, strips away the surface, transforming lively selfies into stark forms of Vanita’s.
It reinterprets the digital portrait as a reminder of mortality, blurring the line between a clinical document and a visual statement on the fragility of life.
“Vanitas vanitatum, et omnia vanitas.”
